Cook's Bison Ranch
… is a historical treasure located in beautiful Northern Indiana Amish country. This “working” bison ranch was established in 1999 and is now home to over 300 head of bison. Here at Cook’s Bison Ranch we strive tp create a place where everyone feels welcome and at home, and our mission is that our guests leave pleased with our hospitality.

GROUP TOUR OPTIONS:
Ranch Tour: Take a guided wagon ride into the field to see and hand-feed the Great American Bison. Learn the intricacies of raising, feeding and managing this beautiful wild animal. Enjoy a sample of the tender, tasty, and healthy meat.
Approximately 1 hour.
Cost: $8.00/adults & $6.00/seniors & children (3-11 yrs.)
BQ Chuckwagon Lunch/Dinner Tour: Take a guided wagon ride into the field to see and hand-feed the Great American Bison. . Learn the intricacies of raising, feeding and managing this beautiful wild animal. Dine in our barn-setting and enjoy an old-fashioned chuckwagon meal: bison roast, baked beans, coleslaw, applesauce, cornbread, dessert & drinks. While eating, enjoy fun and giveaways.
Approximately 2 hrs.
Cost: $18 per person (lunch) or $20 per person (dinner) all inclusive!
Lunch/Dinner Option: All basic ranch tours can add on a meal including a bison burger or brat, chips, cookie and drink with an extra $8 per person charge. (Other meal options can be discussed as well as including bison chili as an option).
Approximately an extra 30 minutes.
Musical Entertainment Option Available Upon Request” $200-$300 (can be divided into a per person charge & added to total tour price.)
10% or $50 deposit required 30 days in advance. Deposit will be applied to your final bill.
Our season is May-October with reservations preferred. We conduct tours Tues., Wed. and Sat. from 10-2pm or otherwise with reservations. Please call for tour times and schedules. We can accommodate at least 50 visitors at one time.
We also hold an Annual Open House, Calf Day Celebration, every year in June. Events of the day include free wagon rides to see the bison along with kid's activities, live music, concession food, and more. Please check the web calendar for this year's date.
Ideal setting for Motorcoach groups, Senior Groups, Church retreats, school groups, family/class reunions. Groups of 10 or more preferred.
Just one hour from Elkhart Indiana. 45 minutes from Nappanee, Indiana and only 30 minutes from Shipshewana, Indiana.
