With
its diverse terrain, ecosystems, and many lakes and waterways, Noble County is a
haven for birds. Migratory routes bring a number of species our way, and
our forests, nature preserves, and farmlands provide cover and bird-friendly
habitats. The following birding list has been provided by Merry Lea
Environmental Learning Center, as a result of their annual bird watch/count.
All species listed are documented within a 50 mile radius of Noble County and
are thereby safe to be considered "Birds of Noble County".
