Indiana's First Farm to Fork and Feast experience. Group Tours are forming now for the 2013 Season!

Self-guided and guided tours of 10 locations spanning over 75 miles. Here over 70 stories including that of the famed author Gene Stratton-Porter, a Confederate soldier, a renowned Indiana architect, quilt making sisters, and many more. Although tours are closed, Self-Guided Tours may be purchased online at: Tombstone Trail website .

Every Friday May through October: Farmer's/Artisan Market: Farmers Markets. The Rome City Farmers/Artisan Market open on Friday in Rome City, IN. May 18 (Sat): Rubber Duck Race

May 18 (Sat): International Bird Day Festival
Join Site staff for the International Migratory Bird Day Festival at the Gene Stratton-Porter Historic Site, Rome City, IN. Hours are 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. $3 per person; reservations are required for kayak rental. Activities will include naturalist-led bird watching hikes through Sower's Woods, an opportunity to bird by kayak and a special craft.
